Taqueria El Azteca was founded in October, 2000.  Originally located on Spring Garden St., in August, 2007 we relocated to Quaker Village Shopping Center across from Guilford College.  Our continued success is based upon our 10 year old formula: tacos made with handmade tortillas served with fresh vegetables and a smile.  Unlike our larger competitors, we prepare our food on a much smaller scale.  Our goal is quality mexican food, not mass-production.

We have full ABC licences and a large assortment of tequilas.  Also take a close look at our wine list as it changes seasonally.

We love what we do!  Everyday we've got some kind of food and beverage special.  On Taco Tuesday we have $1 tacos and $1.50 XX draft.  Due to popular demand, we added Taco Thursday to prevent people from rioting.  Thanks for visiting our website and we hope to see you soon!
